How to change excavator bucket or other attachment with a quick hitch

In the case of frequent replacement of excavator attachments, the operator can use the hydraulic quick hitch to quickly switch between the hydraulic breaker and the bucket. No need for manual insertion of bucket pins. Turning on the switch can be completed in ten seconds, saving time, effort, simplicity, and convenience, which not only improves the excavator working efficiency, but also reduces the wear and tear of the excavator and the attachment caused by the replacement.

The operation steps are as follows:
1、Rise up the excavator’s arm and slowly grab the bucket pin with a fixed tiger mouth of the quick coupler. Switch status closed. (See image 1 & 2).

2、Open the switch when the fixed tiger mouth grabs the pin tightly (Buzzer alarming). The quick coupler cylinder withdraws back and at this time, lower the quick coupler movable tiger mouth to the bottom.

3、Close the switch (the buzzer stopping alarming), the movable tiger mouth stretching out to grab the other bucket pin.

4、When it completely tops the pin, plugs the safety pin. (Figure 5)

Jiangtu quick hitch has two types: manual quick hitch and hydraulic quick hitch. Hydraulic quick hitch is divided into three types: ordinary hydraulic hitch, double locking hydraulic quick hitch, and tilt quick hitch;
A manual quick coupler requires the operator to manually release the attachment with a wrench. For other types of hydraulic quick couplers. Press the button in the cab, and the coupler’s hook can hang the attachments’ pins. Ordinary hydraulic quick couplers require manual insertion of safety pins, but double-locking quick couplers are fully automatic.
